May 2023

We are finally getting around to painting our new shed to match the old shed. The girls helped us out which was nice.

School play! Lily was a chipmunk in Snow White. Her tail was huge!

Abby's first dance! Oh my, it was the formal Red and White dance.

This cute girl sure made me feel special this Mother's Day.
She made me an anklet and breakfast from scratch with a heartfelt card.

She even made the syrup

Eric gave us all a little scare. Made a trip to the ER at the end of Mother's Day. He was having a lot of chest pain. They never really found out what was wrong, but couldn't rule out heart attack (there's apparetly different kinds and they could rule out certain ones, but I can't remember any of the names anymore.

Korra took a picture of me while grocery shopping

Our Fairy Gardens.

We finally found a weekend that Eric and I could celebrate our anniversary. We won a night's stay at a fancy bed and breakfast in Lava. It was themed and include a delicious dinner and a breakfast the next day. We walked around the town and tried to see if we could go get in the free hot pots, but it was not hot yet :(
The dinner was super yummy and was brought to us in courses. We had the place to ourselves for both dinner and breakfast.
Our room was the peacock room so it was purple and covered with peacocks.
The next day when we left we went home through bear lake. We stopped had lunch together and bought some ice cream and chocolates at a little ma and pa store and then tried to go to a museum about Butch Cassidy. It was acutlly closed, but the owener was there getting the last few things ready for when they open next week and he graciously let us in and gave us our own personal tour and let us wander for as long as we wanted to.
After the museum we road around a bird refuge. We did see some birds, but we also saw some other critters. We looked for some geocaches too :)

At Grandma and Grandpa Hobbs
Little kids and the big kids playing kickball. Both Eric and Brian fell while trying to play, it was pretty hilarious.

Band concert for Mia. It's amazing the difference from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. She's still in a group of boys which is still shocking to me.

Piano recital. This was a fun concert because the kids got to play songs from their favorite movies/plays. Kyla played a song from the Phantom of the Opera and Mia played a song from Beauty and the Beaset. They both did great.

Temple trip with some of the girls. We really enjoy going to the temple together.
Just one random day we got the water balloons out and played water balloon volleyball. While we were doing that a neighbor boy came out and watch and joined. Then we rolled down the hill. I would video in slow motion and the results were hilarious. It was such a good time.
Baby Animal Days.

Milking the cow.

Since Abby watched the pool at Aspen Ridge this summer the younger girls went and played there a lot during the summer. I had to cover the other ladies shift one afternoon and Korra got "dragged" to work with me. She didn't want to leave. But I did not enjoy being there and avoided it. The girls could go and sometimes Eric went with them, but I didn't use the pool once. People over there can be pretty mean and the majority know who I am so I didn't want to be where people could complain to me in person.
