June 2023

End of shcool! Lily won a bike for perfect attendance this year. She was suprised and happy. I told  her she couldn't ride a scooter to school that morning, she had to walk. Of course she wanted to know why and I made up something about it being the last day of school and she needed to enjoy the journey of coming to and back and she couldn't do that if she rode a scooter, only if she was walking. Really it's because I didn't want to bring the scooter back because she'd be riding a new bike home.

Camping up Franklin Basin

The girls cutting firewood

We really just took it easy, there was still snow up in the mountains, so we didn't bring four wheelers. We did play games and eat treats. We also got rained on good for a little bit.

Getting our hair done.
I got purple peek a boo panels

Lily got pink bangs

Abby got highlights

Korra just got a cut, to help even our the damage she did from cutting her own hair

Kyla also got "highlights" more about that in a minute

Mia got highlights

So we went to the beauty school in Logan, so it would be a little cheaper. Everyone did a great job, except the one who did Kyla. That girl did not give Kyla highlights, she basically changed her whole hair color and it has a lot of silver and white in it now. She was there all day trying to fix it. Kyla doesn't mind how it turned out and it looks good on her, but this was all her idea to get hair done and she just wanted something natural looking...hahaha.

Kyla is now 14!

For her birthday she had a bunch of friends over and watched a movie with homemade root beer and popcorn in the clubhouse's theater room.

We celebrated Jacey turning 16!
It is my tradition to give a candy-gram to my nieces and nephews when they turn 16.

Playing dress up with Daddy.
Later in the month we did go on a four wheeler ride with Laura and her family. It was cold and rainy a bit, but still fun.
The girls took my phone on the way home and took some amazing photos.

She was cold, which is the opposite of what she usually is.

Look at the rainbows we saw on our rainy ride though.

The young men were in charge of handing our flyers to our 4th of July breakfast that was coming up for the ward. Apparently Kyla made a comment that caused them to put a ton on our door encouraged by the bishop. Hahaha.

Bear Lake
One of Jason's brothers came to visit him and his family for 2 weeks and we were invited to do all the fun things with them. I took the girls (except Abby cause she was working) to the Lake. It was a perfect day with perfect weather. We played volleyball and got in the water and played in the sand.
