June 2021

Some fun in the sun and Kyla's birthday and time with family.

family photo with all the brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews (Ashley was there in spirit and photo)

A few more awards for Kyla at the end of her school year. She did so great this year. She had no idea she was getting these!

We took Mia and Lily on a trip up Logan Canyon with the four wheelers and motorbikes.

Kyla's friend crew. Maddy made these shirts for everyone with pictures of all of them.

Korra falling asleep again in a strange position.

Kyla's birthday party.

cinnamon rolls instead of cake.

homemade rootbeer.

Another picture of turtle just sticking her head in the water.

We went on a hike to the reflectors. This hike was no joke. I was so sore the next day! It is only a 2.6 mile hike, but its a 2300ft elevation gain.  These kids were all troopers, plus one of them was in a boot! I really don't know how she did it.

At the top of the mountain! It was so cold and windy up there.

Headed down. That was the worst. Most of the kids slid down on their butts and made it down in no time. For the rest of us it was slow going.

12 years old!!

We went to a concert at Cherry Peak on Kyla's birthday. Kyla, Mia and I went with Laura.

More pics from our Logan Canyon ride.

Kayaking at Benson Marina.

I even got my mom in the water.

These two are always coming up with crazy ideas to try. Mostly from watching these 5 minute craft ideas on YouTube.

Kyla dying Mia's hair with their homemade concoction.

We went and saw the fireflies! There wasn't a ton of them, but it was still neat.

Before braces.

After!

We went on a camping trip with a friend and his family on some of his family's property at Lava. It was a lot of fun. Shortly after we got there it poured on us. I mean hard, thick rain. We were trying to cook dinner at the time, luckily we set up a shade so we could keep cooking, but man did it pour. Great weather after that though.

Skipping back to when Eric's little brother and family were visiting.

These two are only a few months apart in age.

All four of these cousins have braces on right now.

Clown car. It was a short ride, but we needed it!

Bear Lake trip.

Hahaha, this cracked me up. Laura was feeding Jacey like a mama bird. She was too busy and too sandy to make time to eat.

Made a couch out of sand

There's some electricity in the air, just look at their hair

giving rock massages

Eric had a sleep test done. There are all the things he had to wear to sleep.

Back to the reflectors hike. So brutal. This is just a one time hike for me.

Back to our Lava Hot Springs camping trip. We of course had to go floating. We went down so many times. The girls had a blast.

More reflector hike photos.

We lugged up hammocks thinking we'd relax for a bit up there, but they turned into blankets because it was so cold and windy!

Celebrated afterward by cleaning the sink at Angie's, twice.
