Lillian chose to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was a special day that she was very looking forward to.

Korra turned 3!! We went to the Jump Zone as a family to celebrate. Korra had never been there and wasn't sure quite what to do but got the hang of it pretty quick.

This month and next month Lily, Mia and Kyla played basketball. This was Lily's first year trying it and she was nervous that first game, but decided she really loved it. She even scored some baskets this season. It was very much just a learning time for the kids with the coaches being the refs, but it was entertaining to watch most of the time, painful the other part of the time.

Korra needed to have surgery. She had an inguinal hernia. Luckily it wasn't causing her any pain, but it would lead to pain if left alone. I was nervous for her to have to go through this, but she had a priesthood blessing the night before from Eric and the help of the missionaries. She wasn't suppose to eat of drink after midnight. Usually Korra wants her milk first thing in the morning so I was worried about her being really cranky and wanting to eat. We chose not to do the earliest surgery because we had to travel 30 minutes to Logan and it was a 6:30 start time. So we opted for the second surgery slot, but it just made me that much more nervous about her wanting to eat or drink. But tender mercies are real and She was happy and pleasant and never once asked for anything to eat or drink. My mom came and brought some fun toys and distractions, which were super helpful, and Jon gave her a candy bouquet for afterward. She got to bring a special friend back with her to the surgery room. When they came and got her to go back to the surgery room it was the worst part for me and probably her. They carried her away and I couldn't go with her. She was reaching for me and calling for me and it broke my heart. The surgery went well though and she came back tired but hungry. She ate and we were able to go back home. She had some pain medicine to help and boy did it help. She was jumping off furniture later that day and was scarying me half to death. She really did heal fast and complained very little about it at all.

Mia and Kyla playing Monopoly. Kyla dominated and was very happy about it.

Korra's friend that went back to the surgery room with her. It also got a bandage on it's arm.

She kept complaining about how her hand hurt because of the IV that was there. They wouldn't take it out until she started drinking and eating.

The girls put this together before they went to school for Korra to come home to. So sweet. She loved it and sat in the chair and told me I could sit on the corner of the couch on the opposite end so as not to disturb her friends.
