March 2017

St. Patrick's Day!  I never meant to make a big deal out of this day, but the girls have come to expect some things.  They made their leprechaun traps, but didn't catch one.  The note left said he was almost trapped, but he had brought some rope to help him escape and he even left the rope behind.  There were two traps because last year the leprechaun brought a friend to help him out.  We made lots of crafts at the library and lots of green treats to eat.

Ready for church
Abby's 4th grade program.  It was all about Utah heritage.  You could dress up as a cowboy, miner, pioneer, etc.  Abby  dressed as a pioneer.  They also played their recorders for the concert and did a really nice job.

The girls got all dressed up to go to the ballet!  It was Cinderella.

Eric had Lasik surgery.
Last time wearing glasses to see.
I watched the procedure, it was kinda gross and I winced a lot, but he could see right after.  It was pretty miraculous.  As we were waiting we saw lots of people come out of the procedure and they would cry because they were so happy and in disbelief that they could see.
He had to wear these bad boys all day and for the next several nights so he wouldn't rub his eyes while they were healing.

Mia got to go to the Golden Spike with her cousins!  She had lots of fun.

Playing with their new doll house.
