October 2019

To kick off October we went bowling as a family.  It was a lot of fun, even if none of us are that great.
There was a huge wind storm in Logan and Tremonton, my mom had one of her GIANT trees fall over in her backyard.  Her yard is not big and there are houses close to hers, but thankfully only a fence and swing set were damaged. That is amazing!  That tree was really big.She was able to finally get it and the other trees in her backyard removed. At least now she doesn't need to rake the backyard anymore.
We went to our first parent teacher conferences. All my girls do really well in school and the teachers don't really have anything but wonderful things to tell me.
Mia 3rd grade, Mrs. Detwiler

Lily kindergarten Mrs. Scothern

Kyla 5th grade, Mrs. Wilkey
For a date Eric and I went and painted pictures! They had two different one you could do, I decided we should do different ones because I wouldn't know what to do with two of the same, but that also meant we weren't sitting next to each other. It was still fun and I think Eric surprised himself with how well he did and he said he enjoyed it and would do it again.
Eric painted the kitty, I did the snowman
We found a new pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins this year, the one we usually went to didn't do it this year.

These cute activity day girls. We had a Halloween carnival
Pumpkin Walk

Some also went to the Haunted Hallow

Kyla was a little obsessed with area 51 after kids started talking about it at school, I thought it was pretty great someone made this display.
The traditional height checker

Waaaaa, Abby's as tall as me.

The next day we carved pumpkins and had lunch.

Trick-or-treating at the elementary school. We even got a pizza to eat there and made a night of it.
Not sure why Kyla looked so grumpy, she was happy to be there and had a good time.
Finally it's Halloween! All dressed up for school
She wanted a realistic picture of what a unicorn would look like
It was a cold day, but we bundled up and went trick-or-treating around neighborhoods in our ward. We started earlier than we had in the past and that was so great. Korra slept the entire time in the stroller and Eric joined us once we got home. We got done a lot sooner than we usually do, but the girls wanted to keep going so we let them.
