Hope everyone had a merry Christmas, we did! Here some of what happened during that weekend. On Christmas Eve after Eric got of "work" (he basically got to go to a "meeting" (i.e. party) when he got there and left when it was over) we went over to his grandma's house for the annually Christmas Eve party. It was a lot of fun, especially when the guys sang! After the party we headed over to his parent's house and exchanged sibling gifts. There was too many people and too much going on for Abby so she didn't really want to open anything that night. We spent the night at his parent's house and spent Christmas morning there. True to the forecast it snowed all day in Preston and the wind was strong. Abby was so fun to watch open presents. We had breakfast and visited with Eric's grandma and aunts then debated whether we should brave the weather and head to Logan. We decided to try and found out that Utah had just been raining and had hardly any snow...yet. Eric and I went to my parent's house and I got to talk to Jon. He is doing good by the way. Then we opened more presents and Santa brought Abby a very wonderful gift that she is just in love with. There will be a video of her playing with it later. My brother and Ashley were there also. Then we saw Eric's brother and sister and headed back to Preston, and not a minute to soon, it was getting pretty hard to see near the end of our drive because of all the snow! But, we made it and then the snow hit even harder! We sure had a white Christmas! We were all pretty tired and didn't stay up very late (someones husband couldn't sleep past 3 am that morning). The next day we found out that Preston got around 12 inches of snow and that practically over night Logan got the same. We were snowed in Eric's parent's house for the morning until Eric dug us out. All that snow made for good sledding later that day. We had a lot of fun this weekend and we're sad it couldn't have lasted longer. These are all of Abby's cousins and her Great Grandma Hobbs and her Grandma and Grandpa Hobbs and aunt LauraAbby and Jacey playing the piano together. Opening presents Christmas morning.

The big gift from Santa.

If you can't tell, she got a lookout treehouse from Santa.Eric standing in a snow drift Christmas night, look how high the snow is! Abby playing in the snow the next day, she loved being on that swing.Just to show how much snow was in the driveway at Eric's parent's house. They had to clear some of it away before we could move the cars to clear the whole driveway. This is Eric having the time of his life clearing out the driveway. This was just silly. For some strange reason Abby likes to wear diapers on the outside of her clothes and Jacey saw this and wanted to have a diaper too, so here they are.

When Eric set this up she played with it for at least 20 minutes straight just going up and sliding down. Abby also got a little kitty for Christmas that walks and squawks. She thinks it is real and has tried feeding it real cat food and decided that she needed a playmate on the slide so the kitty got a few turns.
