February/March 2018

More pictures in this post than words on this post because once again I have not kept up on this.
Kyla and Mia just being silly.

Mia's first grade program. She had a speaking part and did a great job. She had it memorized and said it nice and slow and clear.
Abby got her picture on the school wall for being a light house leader.  She also had to invite at least 3 different leaders from companies to come have a tour at our school to see what they were doing to become better leaders.  I don't know if anyone she invited showed up, but she did invite some. Then she got to take different groups on a tour of the school and talk about the things they do at the school.  I know that it was very out of her comfort zone, but so proud that she did it.

Lily is always taking selfies, and I love them.

I took each of the girls out on a date over a month's time period.  I planned something special for each one and made it a surprise.  Kyla was first because she was dying to know what we would be doing.  We went sledding!  It was a lot of fun and great to have some one on one time with her.
Eric took Abby and Kyla skiing.  Don't let Kyla's expression fool you, she had a blast and loved it.  She was very cold though and hadn't warmed up yet.  This was Abby's second time so she didn't take the lessons and had more time to ski with Eric. This was Kyla's first time so she took the lessons.  They can't wait to be able to go again.

Look how cold it was!!
Mia was the next date.  First we had lunch together at McDonald's and since we ordered on their machine we got a free ice cream cone. That thing was as big as her face!  It was huge,  not sure the person knew what they were doing when they were serving it up, but we enjoyed it.  Then we got a few treats from the store and rented a new movie from Redbox and watched a movie in the van.  We had a blast!
 Just because.

Lily's date.  We went to the Fun Park and she played on the soft play and did a few of the games.  Then we had lunch together and got ice cream.  She still talks about our date and it's been 5 months since we had it.
Kyla tested for another karate belt.  Our traditional treat afterwards.
Easter festivities.  We went to the Tremonton Easter egg hunt first, then tried the one in Deweyville.

 Our decorated eggs.
Playing with cousins at Grandma's house.

Eric and I celebrated our 13 year anniversary.  The girls decorated our room for us.  It was so sweet.  Then Eric planned a weekend for us.  We got a hotel and ate at a new restaurant and had a day of temple hopping.  It was awesome.  First we went to the Salt Lake City temple and did a live session.  Then we headed to Bountiful where we were sealed and did sealings there.  It was really a great way to spend our anniversary.

St. Patrick's Day.  The girls made a trap again, but no caught leprechaun.  But, this time the leprechaun lost his clothes!  Kyla took those clothes to school to show her class.

Abby's date!  We went and got manicures.  I thought she'd want to get something green because it was St. Patrick's Day, but she chose purple for both of us.  We got ice cream afterward and just talked and  talked.

 Lily being Lily.

So the Mia and Lily wanted to make me breakfast in bed.  Kyla helped them a little.  This is what I got. Oranges and bananas with melted chocolate and milk duds, some uncooked noodles and whipped cream.
 Thanks ladies.
The ballet!  We went to Sleeping Beauty.
 All fancied up.
