Lily's Haircut, Mia Graduation, Tea Party And The Farm, Ward Party And Back To School

It was time for Lily to have her first haircut.  I don't like saying goodbye to the baby curls, but like I just wrote it was time.

Mia did an online preschool this year and this was at her graduation.  She enjoyed doing this most of the time and did learn a lot by doing it.

At a tea party put together by my sister at the American West Heritage Center.

Date night.  We headed to Brigham City and ate at Maddox and went miniature golfing (do not recommend, it was super lame) then did a little geocaching cause my husband loves me and know I really enjoy it.  Although we didn't actually find any.

This summer when my mom came and got the girls for story time and a day with Grandma they volunteered once a month on the farm at the American West Heritage Center.  They dressed in period correct clothing and demonstrated how to do laundry and they helped cook lunch and collected eggs, etc. Abby had a different activity this day but she volunteered too.

Our ward had a party and dinner.  There were lots of water activities including a dunk tank which Abby, Kyla and Mia all sat in and got dunked!  They had face painting and a clothing swap and yummy food.

Back to school night.  Not sure what the teachers had planned for these pictures they too of the kids dressed up but all the incoming 4th graders did it.  They also had fun games and a dunk tank of sorts (a bucket dropped water on top of them when the target was hit) Lily even sat in the chair and got soaked.  I was so surprised that she wanted to do it and followed though and didn't cry.  Abby was happy with the teacher she got, then a week after this we got a call saying that he took a teaching job closer to where he lives and Abby has a new teacher.  Kyla got the same 2nd grade teacher that Abby had.  Mia didn't find out who her teacher was until after evaluations during the first week of school.
