The Zoo!

We went to Hogle Zoo! We spent the day down in Salt Lake City and took the kids to the zoo with my brother and his wife. The girls and I had never been before and Eric hasn't been since he was little so it was a lot of fun. The weather wasn't too bad, it did drizzle a little on us but it was while we were eating and we were under cover so it was great.

So we went on the day they had fieldtrips...it was crowded to say the least. This elephant that we are posing on was receiving so much abuse! Kids were kicking and hitting it, I had to be very persuasive to get the kids to back off for 2 seconds so I could just get a picture. I sure hope my kids don't act like the kids we saw when they get older.

Abby and the tiger. Abby likes tigers, she wanted to see the bears though. Sadly the bears were in Portland, OR while they are redoing their exhibit so she didn't get to see them.We went to the playground the have and the girls loved it!

This was really fun to watch, the bird show. My brother Rich got to have a bird fly to him and take a donation. Abby's reaction is the best.

After the show you could make more donations and you could hand it to the bird and it would put it in the box. Abby of course would not stick her hand anywhere near the bird.

We had a ton of fun this day, thanks for inviting us Ashley and Rich.
