Harris Research, that's where Eric works, has a company party every year at Lagoon, a nearby amusement park. We went on Saturday, the hottest day of the year so far, and had a good time. Abby went on her first ride ever, the carousel, and she hated it! I think that the kids screaming for fun scared her more than anything. She was trying to climb on Eric and had huge tears. But by the end of the ride she calmed down a bit and probably would have started to enjoy it now that she was use to it.
Next we went on the train ride, which traveld around the pard and went by animals like in a zoo. Abby really enjoyed that one! She even smiled a few times.
After those rides we went and played bingo as a part of his work party and the prizes were money, Eric won $5 and I won $30! Then we had dinner and left. It was a hot day, but fun.
