We went to Eric's grandma's house for a family Christmas Eve party. Which was a true blessing because not long before Grandma gave us all a fright that resulted in an ambulance ride to the hospital and several days stay. But, she is a fighter and was determined to still have her party. Crowded it was, but also a lot of fun. Especially the traditional "left, right" game.
This is Eric's aunt Caroline reading a story to all the kids.
A few of us performed some musical numbers, me included, but this was the first time I got to hear Heather play (Eric's little brother's wife). She also sang and it was awesome.
The story of Jesus' birth.
Abby and Jacey as sheep.
After the party we went back to Eric's parents place and exchanged sibling gifts. Reesa (Eric's older brother's wife) made pajamas for Laura's family (Eric's older sister) and her own. They are so cute. Jason was the only one who got shorts because if you know Jason he will wear shorts in any weather.
Also this was on the back of Jason's shirt!
So on Christmas morning the girls woke up and found their presents from Santa and they enjoyed them. The funny thing is though that they wanted to play with the other one's toy! Oh well. We spent a nice quiet day at home playing with new toys.
The reason there are two pictures is because we had Christmas with my family the week before.

Abby relaxing in her new sleeping bag and using the cute pillow Reesa made her.
For New Year's Eve we went to Rebecca and Scott's place and played games, it was a lot of fun but I took no pictures. We played a crazy game and all the kids watched movies and played.
